Why the first year matters
Your home’s first full year brings a season of heating, a season of cooling, and a few heavy rains. Small issues can show up in that time: drywall cracks, doors that stick, drainage that runs the wrong way, or a fixture that was never quite connected right.
When to book
Book around month ten or eleven. Check your warranty paperwork for the exact end date and leave time to send the report to your builder before it. Coverage is set by your warranty; the report documents what we observe for the builder to review.
